Had to cancel as neither I nor Booking.com could contact owner to gain access to property Positive: Booking this property was a fiasco. I cannot comment on the actual quality of the accommodation as I was unable to gain access and ended up having to cancel the reservation through Booking.com and seek alternative accommodation . Negative: I booked this accommodation through Booking.com at short notice. I tried to contact the owner to arrange access on the number provided by Booking.com but this number turned out to be invalid. The booking triggered an email to me through a 'Virtual Concierge ' and further phone numbers were provided for me to contact the owner. Despite trying all numbers multiple times over several hours spent outside the property, no one answered my calls and no one has yet responded days later. I ended up having to cancel the reservation through Booking.com, and I understand that Booking.com were themselves unable to contact the owner of the property. I had to find alternative accommodation.
